Hva handler Two Neighbour Castles om?
Somoskő is a small village to the north from Salgótarján, at the Slovakian border. The castle itself can be found in Slovakia. From there, you can see a beautiful panorama to the surrounding mountains. Even the far, snow capped High Tatras can be seen.
A short walk from the castle, amazing basalt formations, among others a "basalt waterfall" are worth to see.
A few miles to the south, the Salgó Castle rises, from where also the Somoskő castle can be seen.
