A River Falls, Wisconsin, organization erects an abstract sculpture in a prominent downtown location. How will the public react?

This program examines how an American college town develops its identity and how public art, historic preservation, patriotism, and a perception of latent bigotry play a part.

Featured are sculptor Richard Taylor of Milwaukee, as well as River Falls residents Ursula Peterson, David Markson, and Jolene Larson. Included is the River Falls City Council, Mayor Don Richards presiding.
