Super Kids Triathlon, URI, Kingston RI, USA

She was 4th out of 14 out of the pool in her Wave of 9-10 year olds. But, except for her swimming training at the Y, she was not able to train much for the bike and run, so, she did not do too well in those.
The three kids in front of her in the swim are all 10, and on the YMCA swim team.
Mama and Papa are proud that Janice finished the triathlon under pretty hot conditions, and had a lot fun doing it.
Janice will have to work hard on her running since she has a Karate fitness test in Mid August where she has to run 3 miles in < 30 minutes.
