Hearing this song by Peter, Paul and Mary would always make me sad- I wanted to concretize, to flesh out that feeling. The story took its own course- the original plan was to focus on the pangs of growing up, but this happened instead.
Also dedicated to children with cancer, and how they give hope to people by their selflessness.
