Description: Mountain bike touring, August 2012, from Winter Park to Boulder, Colorado. Trestle crossings, nice fast two track, alpine lakes, and the barricaded Needle's Eye Tunnel. The pass tops out at 11,660 ft (3,554 m). This pass is also known as "Corona Pass" and was the main railroad line between Denver and the Winter Park area until the long, underground, Moffat Tunnel was completed.
