A blast from the past: an update of my asteroid field animation from way back in 2010. I upped the detail on each asteroid with subdivision, added crater displacement, deepened the surface normals, brightened the lighting, and rendered at a higher resolution (tech-talk, mostly Blender3D stuff). An overall improvement? Maybe...
